Support for schools that are designing, refining, or fully implementing a standards-based learning system across grade levels.
Examples of work:
Clarifying and finalizing Power Standards from EC–12
Designing continuous curriculum review processes
Supporting transitions to or optimization of curriculum management systems (e.g., Chalk)
Aligning curriculum, assessment, grading, and reporting practices
Format:
Multi-month consulting partnerships (virtual and/or on-site) with leadership teams and teacher representatives.
02 — Assessment & Rubric Design: Building a Body of Evidence for Learning
Help teachers and leaders design student-focused, standards-based assessment systems.
Outcomes for your school:
Shared definitions of what counts as sufficient evidence of learning
Coherent assessment plans at the unit and course level
Standards-aligned rubrics that support feedback, grading, and reporting

Format:

04 — Inquiry-Based & Disciplinary Learning
Drawing on your experience in social studies, math, and science, you support schools in designing inquiry-based units and disciplinary learning experiences that are clearly aligned to standards and assessments.
Support includes:
Designing or refining inquiry units (e.g., C3 framework in social studies)
Aligning unit questions, learning targets, and performance tasks
Ensuring assessment and rubrics accurately reflect disciplinary thinking and skills
Format:
Department-focused workshops and collaborative unit design cycles.
